Job summary

ABEC is hiring a Vessel Service Technician to perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on ABEC and other equipment. This role involves diagnosing problems, recommending efficiency changes, and providing project execution leadership. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, experience in equipment service, and must pass a welding test.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post-high school experience in equipment service or manufacturing craftsmanship.
• Must have experience in welding fabrication and pass ASME/PED weld test.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Assist with Confined Space training for Field Technicians.
• Execute fabrication according to blueprints.
