Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in Midland, Texas seeks a Senior Field Engineer to verify piping systems, pressure vessels, and ASME VIII compliance. You will review P&IDs, perform field walkdowns, tag equipment, and document PSV and asset registers.

Your role requires travel to sites, overnight stays, and occasional climbing to access equipment, with a focus on accurate drawings and updated maintenance records in collaboration with field and back-office teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Process, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or FMCG industries.
• Hands-on experience with P&IDs, field walkdowns, equipment tagging, and pressure vessel documentation.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII and pressure safety valve (PSV) systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel, stay overnight, work in the field, and occasionally climb platforms.

Responsibilities

• Verify equipment tags, piping connections, flow directions, instruments, and valves against P&IDs, Plot Plans, and Lease Flow Diagrams.
• Identify and document field discrepancies using AutoCAD, PDF markups, and Bluebeam.
• Verify pressure vessel nameplates, equipment details, and relevant ASME code information.
• Capture equipment photographs and nameplate data for asset registers and PSV documentation.
• Coordinate with field and back-office teams to update drawings and maintenance records.
