ArborMetrics is seeking a Transmission Work Planner to join our vegetation management team in the field. You will identify safety hazards, document vegetation work, operate tablets and GIS data systems, and interact with customers and stakeholders in outdoor settings.

The role requires hiking ROWs, driving to sites, and working outdoors under various weather conditions. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) or related forestry experience.
• Knowledge of tree species, hazard assessment, and growth patterns.
• Ability to hike/drive for extended periods and work alone outdoors.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office; familiarity with mobile data entry.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Communicate with leadership, clients, contractors, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
