Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. in Lawrence, PA is seeking technicians to assemble valve actuation packages, repair and test safety relief valves, and service isolation and control valves.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, field work, and travel as needed, with a focus on safety and customer-facing professionalism. Ideal candidates have a 2-year technical degree or 5 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical tool skills, and basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year vocational or technical college degree or 5 years experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with mechanical tools and equipment.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic circuits.
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends, as required.
• Willing to travel out of town and work in the field as needed.
• Able to interact professionally with gas industry customers.
• Team player and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valve actuation packages.
• Repair and assemble safety relief valves.
• Disassemble, evaluate, rebuild and test isolation and control valves.
• Troubleshoot electrical instrumentation components.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lift 50 lbs. and perform outdoor work.
