Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or an acceptable equivalency diploma.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cross-connection inspections and backflow testing.
• Repair and test backflow preventers and support daily duties of backflow inspectors.
• Operate and maintain water and reclaimed water systems and facilities.
• Assist in installing, repairing and replacing water distribution lines and related site work.
• Perform field maintenance including valves, meters, pumps and related tasks.
• Support in maintaining ponds, treatment plants and other utility assets.
