Inframark is seeking a Utility Locator to protect underground water, sewer, and gas utilities by accurately locating and marking infrastructure before excavation. This independent, field-based role is ideal for someone safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced working outdoors.

The position involves locating utilities, interpreting tickets and drawings, documenting field findings, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivere2 license with clean record.
• Experience locating utilities preferred.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and GIS data.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with outdoor field work and varied terrain.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utility lines using maps, GIS data, and drawings.
• Plan daily work from tickets, blueprints, and service requests.
• Document field findings and completed work.
• Verify utility information and communicate updates as needed.
• Operate company vehicle safely.
• Work with homeowners, contractors, and utility reps to ensure safe excavation.
• Respond to routine and emergency locating requests, including after-hours.
