Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks outdoor-oriented locators to safely identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas using a company vehicle. You’ll receive 100% paid training and contribute to safeguarding critical infrastructure while advancing your field career.

No prior locating experience is required, but experienced locators are welcome. Benefits include daily pay, insurance options, 401(k) match, PTO and holidays, and a clear career path within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
