Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking an outdoor locator to locate underground utilities and clearly mark their positions in designated areas. You will work with a company-provided vehicle and use a ticketing system to document each locate with photos and proper paperwork.

The role requires willingness to work daytime, full-time shifts, overtime, weekends, and on-call duties as needed, with 100% paid training and a strong safety culture. No prior locating experience is required but welcomed.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field data entry.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities (telecom, electric, gas, water, sewer) and mark locations.
• Document work and photograph each locate; ensure clear, complete mark-outs for excavators.
