Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking a field locator to identify underground utilities and mark locations in assigned areas. You will work in outdoor conditions with a company vehicle, performing accurate locates and documenting findings daily.

No prior locating experience is required, but willingness to learn is essential. The role is full-time, daytime, with overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Training is provided, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets and maps.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
