Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle while traveling between job sites throughout Alabama.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with GPS, mapping systems, and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Utilize locating equipment to detect buried utilities and identify drops and mains.
• Determine the horizontal path and location of underground utilities.
• Mark utility locations using paint, flags, and APWA color-code standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of locate tickets and reports.
• Communicate with contractors, excavators, homeowners, and utility representatives.
