ELM Utility Services is hiring Utility Locate Technicians to work outdoors in Brook Park, Ohio. You will use a company vehicle and LaunchPoint-type workflow to locate and mark underground utilities, supporting safe excavation and reliable service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug, MVR, and background checks as this is a safety-sensitive DOT position with overtime and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED & at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug, MVR, and background checks; Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day.
• Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
• Must be able to work on-call rotation and overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.
