ELM Utility Services is seeking a Utility Locate Technician for the Prescott Valley, Arizona area. You will locate and mark underground utilities to support safe excavation, using marking paint, flags and the LaunchPoint software system.

Work involves outdoor field duties, a company vehicle, potential on-call rotations, and overtime including nights or weekends. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.
• Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliant with Federal DOT regulations.
• Marijuana use prohibited under the Controlled Substances Act (Schedule III).

Responsibilities

• Complete a route of locate requests daily using company vehicle.
• Accurately locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Receive daily tasks via mobile work system.
• Work on-call rotation and overtime; may include nights and weekends.
