Job summary

ELM Utility Services in Cottonwood, Arizona seeks a Utility Locate Technician to perform marking of underground utilities and support safe excavation. You will work outdoors with a company vehicle, receive daily tasks on a mobile system, and help ensure dependable utility services for the community.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with DOT regulations. On-call shifts and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• This is a safety-sensitive DOT position.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities using marking tools.
• Work outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as a mobile office.
• Receive and complete daily locate tasks via the mobile system.
• May require on-call rotation and overtime, including nights/weekends.
