Job summary

ELM Utility Services in Jackson, Wyoming seeks a Utility Locate Technician to mark and protect underground gas, electric, and communications lines during excavation. You will use LaunchPoint software and a company vehicle to perform daily locate routes, ensuring safety and efficiency in the field.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and MVR.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check.
• This is a Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliant with all Federal DOT regulations.
• Age 18+ and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors using a company-provided vehicle as your mobile office.
• Accurately locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Receive daily tasks via mobile work system and complete a route of locate requests.
• Work on-call, overtime, nights and weekends as needed.
