Job summary

City of Tulsa is seeking candidates for a Labor Trade position requiring a high school diploma or GED and four years of progressively responsible experience in water, sewer maintenance, construction, or utility location. Hours are Mon-Thu 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with location at 2317 S. Jackson Ave.

(“IW”). A valid Oklahoma Class A CDL is required within six months, with endorsements; pesticide/herbicide permits may be required for some roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 4 years of progressively responsible construction/utility experience.
• CDL Class A within 6 months of hire with applicable endorsements; some positions require pesticide/herbicide permit within 9 months.
• Relevant Water/Wastewater license within 72 months of hire for some positions; Confined Space Entry and SCBA certifications where applicable.
