Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a construction laborer to perform demanding manual tasks on project sites. You will operate hand and power tools, assist crew members, and help secure sites for safe operations.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, effective communication with foremen, and readiness to travel as needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of construction exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6–12 months of construction experience.
• OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR, plus safety awareness.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions.
• Good oral and written communication with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor at construction sites daily.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents to supervisors.
• Load/unload materials from trucks; handle and hoist items.
• Keep job site clean and secure; manage tools and small equipment.
• Identify utilities and ensure trenching protection as needed.
• Keep supervisors informed of any actions affecting work.
