Job summary

You will connect field underwriting, senior management and brokers, shaping annual operating plans and long-term strategies while guiding a team of underwriting leaders. You will coach, mentor and develop your team, drive profitable growth across products, and manage relationships with brokers to meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years of package lines experience (auto, property, workers comp, umbrella, premises).
• Minimum of 5 years previous management experience.
• Products liability claims experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop team with clear goals and regular feedback; empower underwriting leaders.
• Lead for new business growth, retention, rate and customer service; drive field activity and brokering development.
• Provide leadership to meet goals and manage results across underwriting teams.
• Oversee distribution management and expansion across retail and wholesale channels.
• Ensure compliance with changes and collaborate with underwriting, operations, legal and home office teams.
• Engage in innovation initiatives, product launches and marketing campaigns.
