Job summary

Branco Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Underground Utilities / Plumbing Technician WB03 to support excavation, installation, and repair of underground water mains and service lines near Warrensburg, Missouri.

Work ranges from laborer to pipefitter and involves operating backhoes and other equipment. Compensation is $27.00–$35.00 per hour with benefits including health, 401(k), paid holidays, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous labor.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently per schedules.
• Carry basic personal tools and follow written and verbal instructions.
• 2+ years of underground piping/plumbing experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of Missouri One Call (Dig Rite) markings (preferred).
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (training available).
• Plumbing experience/license beneficial (not required).

Responsibilities

• Excavate, install, and maintain water mains and service lines.
• Operate equipment (backhoe, mini-excavator, skid-steer) as qualified; use hand tools as needed.
• Locate and repair underground water leaks and drain pipes.
• Install underground piping including PVC, cast iron, and ductile iron.
• Excavate around utilities and follow Missouri One Call (Dig Rite) markings.
• Maintain jobsite safety and comply with OSHA requirements.
• Participate in on-call response as needed (incentive pay available).
