A leading construction company in the Midwest is seeking an Underground Utilities / Plumbing Technician to support the excavation, installation, and repair of underground water mains and service lines. The ideal candidate will have experience in underground piping and plumbing, demonstrate dependable attendance, and show the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a field-based role in close proximity to Warrensburg, Missouri, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

• Install underground piping including PVC, cast iron, and ductile iron
• Excavate around utilities and follow Missouri One Call (Dig Rite) markings
• Maintain jobsite safety and comply with OSHA requirements
• Participate in on-call response as needed (incentive pay available)

Position Summary

Supports excavation, installation, and repair of underground water mains, service lines, and drain piping. Multiple openings available from laborer to pipefitter to equipment operator; work located near Warrensburg, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities

• Excavate, install, and maintain water mains and service lines
• Operate equipment (backhoe, mini-excavator, skid-steer) as qualified; use hand tools as needed
• Locate and repair underground water leaks and drain pipes
• Install underground piping including PVC, cast iron, and ductile iron
• Excavate around utilities and follow Missouri One Call (Dig Rite) markings
• Maintain jobsite safety and comply with OSHA requirements

Required Qualifications

• Carry basic personal tools

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of underground piping/plumbing experience
• excavating around utilities
• Knowledge of Missouri One Call (Dig Rite) markings
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (training available)
• Plumbing experience/license beneficial (not required)

Field-based role in the vicinity of Warrensburg, Missouri; outdoor utility/construction environments.
