Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Odessa, TX seeks a Turbine Technician to support mobilization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer interface on gas turbines and power generation assets. This is a field role with a 28-days-on / 28-days-off rotation.

Ideal candidates have technical schooling or hands-on field experience, with the ability to travel extensively and work in demanding environments. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, good communication, and proficiency with service

Qualifications

• Technical school degree or trade certification required.
• Experience with gas turbines, reciprocating engines, or power generation equipment required.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to complete service documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Support mobilization/demobilization of turbine projects.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on gas turbines and power generation equipment.
• Follow OEM specifications and company procedures in field service.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical issues with senior technician support.
• Complete service documentation and reports.
• Provide customers with equipment operation training.
• Maintain communication with customers and internal teams to ensure service delivery.
• Follow all safety protocols and site requirements.
• Travel to remote field locations as required.
