Job summary

Mast Trucking / Central Service in Millersburg, OH is seeking an experienced Road Service Technician who can diagnose and repair semi-trucks and trailers in the field. You’ll work from our Millersburg location, respond to roadside calls, and decide the best way to get equipment safely back on the road.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, use of diagnostic software, good communication with drivers and customers, and the ability to work independently, including on-call

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable using computers and diagnostic software to troubleshoot equipment.
• Able to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently in the field.
• Strong communication skills with drivers, customers, vendors, and shops.
• Good judgment deciding what needs repair and what can wait.
• Own basic hand tools.
• CDL is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and service calls.
• Diagnose and repair semi-trucks and trailers in the field.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and use diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues.
• Make on-site repairs and determine whether towing is needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with drivers and the shop.
• Keep the service truck and tools in good condition.
