Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a skilled fleet mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair light to heavy trucks across Monroe, OH and surrounding locations. You will perform routine maintenance, coordinate on-site repairs and document issues to meet safety, quality and productivity expectations.

Ideal candidates have a two-year diesel tech degree, 5 years experience, ability to travel to southwest OH and Indiana, and fluency with maintenance manuals and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in diesel technology or heavy equipment mechanics.
• 5 years of experience preferred.
• Must read and understand Equipment Maintenance Manuals.
• Ability to travel to southwest OH and Indiana locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair a large fleet across multiple locations.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Coordinate repairs on site and communicate with plant managers.
• Maintain safety and quality expectations and productivity.
• Willing to assist other mechanics on large projects.
