Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Fremont, CA is seeking staff to supervise field trips and ensure safety and wellness for campers. You’ll travel by bus between stops, build connections with kids, and help run engaging activities while modeling inclusivity and positive leadership in a playful environment.

Requirements include being at least 18, having 2 months experience with camp-age children, First Aid & CPR before Day 1, and the ability to supervise groups, monitor allergies, and follow all policies.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Staff members will be responsible for chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness
• You’ll travel by bus to multiple stops, all while having fun with kids
• Actively supervising campers
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies
• Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self
• Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
