Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Texas School Bus Certificate.
• Current DOT Medical Examination Report.
• Perfect or near-perfect driving record with no collisions.
• Willingness to travel long distances and overnight stays.
• Flexible with hours; no guaranteed daily hours.
• Eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus for field trips out of town or on route times.
• Transport pupils and teachers on school trips.
• Conduct daily inspections of buses and equipment.
• Maintain order among pupils and clients.
• Follow policies for pupil and parent interactions.
• Report problems and submit daily reports.
• Wash, sweep, refuel buses as needed.
• Record deficiencies in writing promptly.
• Perform bus evacuation drills as directed.
• Other duties as assigned; schedule varies.
