To aid inFlyttr’smission to combat thecritical threatfrom New World screwworm (NWS) in the United States, t the Field Trials Manager will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of field trials supporting Flyttr’s pest management and biosecurity platforms. This role willbe responsible fortranslating scientific and operationalobjectivesinto well designed field activities, ensuring trials are conducted safely, consistently, andin accordance withapproved protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
Working closely with scientific, operational, regulatory, and external partners, the Field Trials Manager will oversee field trialand monitoring activities frominitialplanning through execution, data collection, analysis support, and final reporting. The role requires a strong combination of scientific understanding, project management, field operations, and stakeholder coordination. The position will be based in San Antonio, Texas, with field activities expected to cover much of the state and region.
This position will involve a combination of office, laboratory, and outdoor field work. The Field Trials Manager should be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods and may be exposed to heat, humidity, insects, uneven terrain, agricultural environments, and other conditions associated with field research.
Regular travel to field trial locations will berequired. Field activities may occasionally require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on environmental conditions and trial requirements.
