Securitas, Inc. in Mount Pleasant, WI is seeking a Field Training Officer (Full Time) to serve as the primary training resource for a datacenter campus. You’ll train security personnel, resolve issues, and drive process improvements while coordinating with campus leadership.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Onboard and sustainment training as the primary point of contact.
• Train and certify new security personnel with OTJ support as needed.
• Conduct ongoing training and evaluation to maintain high security standards.
• Track training completion for all personnel and address gaps.
• Promote safety awareness and coordinate safety initiatives with campus leadership.
• Collaborate with local leadership to develop site training plans.
• Recommend onboarding and training schedules to security managers.
• Perform training audits and report confidential information to campus leadership.
• Maintain training and safety documentation with accuracy.

About The Role:

The Field Training Officer (FTO) serves as the principal training resource for a datacenter campus or metro location. In addition to providing training, job functions may include problem resolution, service enhancement, and process improvement as it pertains to safety and training. The field training officer reports directly to the Field Training Manager (FTM), and will work closely with other sites, regional, and headquarter leadership.This position will have no direct reports but will work closely with campus leadership to assess employees, site, and campus needs.

What You Can Expect:

• Support and serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and sustainment training.
• Train and certify new security personnel, asking for assistance from Administrative Officers (AOs)with on-the-job (OTJ) tasks related to new security personnel as needed.
• Perform ongoing training and evaluation for security personnel to maintain a high security standard for all officers.
• Track various training (production, sustainment, new site starts, and other performance and role related training gaps as identified by the site leadership team) completion for all security personnel.
• Prioritize safety awareness among the campus team and champion safety initiatives developed at the global and regional program level.
• Coordinate with local leadership and the training team to develop site plans and roll out trainings.
• Recommend onboarding and training schedules in accordance with training needs for security staff to the Field Training Manager, Branch, site and campus security managers.
• Conduct recurring training audits and prepare and submit critical and confidential information to campus site leadership.
• Maintain required training and safety documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures and provide feedback on competence, compliance, and morale to campus site leadership.
• Identify security shortfalls and offer suggestions for improving the security program and evaluate and elevate potentialsafety issues within the facility to the site security leadership.
