Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking a Field Trainer in Colorado to support Aurora and surrounding cafe locations. This hands-on role trains bakery team members, supports new and existing cafes, and ensures bread and pastry products meet 85°C quality and standards.

The position requires travel between local cafes, strong coaching skills, and a collaborative approach with store management to drive operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of bread, bakery, or pastry experience preferred.
• Training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and travel between local cafe locations; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop bakery team members on proper production techniques.
• Provide hands-on coaching to ensure bread and pastry products meet 85°C quality, appearance, and production standards.
• Travel between local cafe locations to provide training, operational support, and follow-up coaching.
• Support the training and implementation of new breads, pastries, products, procedures, and standards.

Field: Bread & Pastry Training Specialist

As a Field Trainer, you will play an important role in supporting 85°C Bakery Cafe locations throughout the Colorado market. This position is responsible for training and developing bakery team members, supporting new and existing cafes, and ensuring our bread and pastry products are consistently prepared according to 85°C quality and operational standards.

This is a hands‑on training role that requires regular travel between local cafe locations and close partnership with store management teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Train and develop Back of House bakery team members on proper production techniques, including dough separating, shaping, filling, baking, finishing, and product handling.
• Provide hands‑on coaching to ensure bread and pastry products consistently meet 85°C quality, appearance, and production standards.
• Travel between local 85°C Bakery Cafe locations to provide training, operational support, and follow‑up coaching.
• Support the training and implementation of new breads, pastries, products, procedures, and operational standards.
• Partner with store management to identify training needs and provide additional coaching or retraining when necessary.
• Assist bakery teams with maintaining proper production levels, product quality, organization, and inventory procedures.
• Demonstrate proper food safety, sanitation, equipment use, and workplace safety procedures.
• Provide Front of House training and operational support as needed.
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a strong commitment to 85°C standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance, arrive on time for scheduled shifts and training assignments, and follow all company policies and procedures.

This position requires moderate physical activity.
