Job summary

The Traffic Group Limited is seeking a Traffic Technician in Ohio. You will program and place traffic counting machines, collect data, and prepare prints from counters, while traveling across the state and working outdoors. You may perform turning movement counts and help maintain the equipment.

Applicants must have a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for background checks and drug testing. A signing bonus is offered after six months of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read maps and navigate to sites.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must pass background and drug checks.
• Basic safety training required.

Responsibilities

• Program and place traffic counting machines and tubes on roadways.
• Collect counting devices after counts and download data.
• Prepare printouts from downloaded data.
• Conduct turning movement counts when requested.
• Help maintain counting equipment.
