You will inspect traffic signal and streetlight installations, review plans for compliance with City standards, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals on public infrastructure projects.

Required: high school diploma or GED; four years as a licensed General Journeyman electrician; two years experience in traffic signals or IMSA Level I certification; valid

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Four (4) years of experience as a licensed General Journeyman electrician.
• Two years of experience installing or inspecting traffic signals or IMSA Level I certification is required or alternatively IMSA Level I certification.

Aufgaben

• Inspects foundations, conduit, cabinets and equipment for traffic signal and street light installations.
• Prepares record drawings for street light installations using AutoCAD.
• Reviews plans and ensures construction meets specifications; approves electrical aspects of projects.
• Provides technical advice to engineers, contractors, and city staff on codes and requirements.
