Rekor Systems, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company, seeks an Engineering Data Traffic Technician for the Georgia metro area. You will perform traffic studies using pneumatic tubes and AI-based video systems, install equipment across up to 50 sites weekly, and manage portable data recorders.

This is a physical, outdoor role requiring travel, attention to detail, and safe driving. Strong problem-solving and time management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Role requires cleared background verification and drug testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state weekly.

Responsibilities

• Safely install and maintain all assigned equipment at sites across the coverage area.
• Review weekly tasks, weather, and plan to complete work.
• Maintain equipment condition including batteries and parts.
• Notify manager of issues as they arise.
• Operate and park the company vehicle safely and legally.
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained and presentable.
• Upload data to FTP site.
