Job summary

Lite & Barricade is seeking a Driver/Helper in Texas to execute work orders, communicate with customers, and support daily dispatch operations. The role involves loading, securing loads, and ensuring compliance with TXDOT/MUTCD standards.

You will work with a team on high-speed road sites, perform pre/post tasks, and maintain safety and equipment cleanliness. High school diploma required; background checks applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to read traffic control plans.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform stretch and flex exercises.
• Report to Dispatch to receive orders for the day.
• Contact customers to verify deliveries are as scheduled.
• Pull and load trucks as work order specifies.
• Make sure loads are correctly strapped.
• Deliver equipment, and if needed, set up work orders based on TXDOT and/or MUTCD standards.
• Upon completion of work order, get work order signed.
• Upon receipt of signed work order, report to Dispatch for additional daily tasks.
• Fill up work trucks with fuel.
• Make sure work trucks are clean.
