Job summary

CHAOS Industries is redefining modern defense with a multi-product portfolio and a focus on advanced unmanned systems. The UAS Pilot/Flight Test & Mission Operator role is based in El Segundo, CA and supports full lifecycle unmanned aircraft operations, from development to customer missions and field deployments.

You will work across Group 1–3 UAS platforms, including fixed-wing, VTOL, multirotor, turbine, and EDF aircraft, with responsibilities spanning test planning, mission execution, data

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in aerospace, aviation, engineering technology, unmanned systems (preferred).
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review flight-test plans and criteria.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and customers.
• Prepare and inspect aircraft, payloads, and supporting systems.
• Perform preflight functional checks of flight controls, propulsion, and data systems.
• Maintain flight-test logs, telemetry, and test reports.
• Travel to customer and test sites as required (typically 50%+).
