Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Sr Spec, Systems Engrg – Field Testing Lead to plan, execute, and analyze field tests of GPS receivers in contested and degraded environments. You will develop STE, integrate test setups, and coordinate with ranges and partners to ensure mission-ready performance.

You will travel up to 50%, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive test processes, instrumentation, and reporting to support design updates and customer deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related discipline with minimum 6 years or a graduate degree with minimum 4 years prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Special Test Equipment for Functional Qualification Testing, Environmental Testing, EMI testing, and manufacturing support.
• Plan, execute, and analyze field tests of GPS receivers in contested and degraded environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and production to ensure smooth testing and acceptance testing.
• Develop detailed field test plans, instrumentation setups, and data analysis procedures.
• Interface with external test ranges, government partners, and mission stakeholders.
