CNH Industrial is seeking a Test Engineer II in our Precision Electronics group to conduct hands‑on verification testing of embedded software on agricultural equipment, primarily in field environments. You will work with systems and software engineers to ensure requirements and performance are met, while developing test plans and reporting results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 2+ years of testing experience, with on‑site, safe access to equipment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a test engineer or in a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including defect documentation and test reporting.
• Ability to safely access and work on agricultural equipment in field and shop environments.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting of electrical and system integration issues in real time.
• Experience developing and executing test cases based on system and software requirements.

• Perform verification testing of embedded software on agricultural equipment in field and bench environments
• Analyze and review system requirements to develop test strategies and plans
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and procedures aligned with feature functionality and performance expectations
• Analyze test results and failures, perform root cause investigation, and distinguish between test issues and product defects
• Create, maintain, and communicate test reports and quality status to stakeholders.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and identified defects
• Collaborate with systems engineering and cross‑functional teams to ensure complete verification coverage
• Support coordination of test activities with internal teams and external partners, as required
• Identify and contribute to improvements in test processes, methodologies, and tools
