Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to be the face of Progressive for independent agencies in Wichita, KS, and surrounding markets. You will meet with agents, tailor meetings to create new opportunities, and manage the book of business to drive profitable growth.

A company vehicle, phone, laptop, and credit card are provided. Travel is required within the territory (2-3 overnights per month) plus training in Ohio or Florida.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma/GED or higher with extensive outside B2B sales or territory management experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor's degree with minimum years of outside B2B sales or territory management experience.
• Progressive Agency Distribution Inside Sales experience is acceptable with relevant years.
• Driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with agents in the assigned territory to influence and advocate for Progressive’s products and services.
• Manage the quality of the book of business and drive profitable growth within the territory; overcome objections.
• Travel to agencies within the geographic area; occasional overnight travel and training required.
