Job summary

Acme Tools in Minot, ND is hiring Territory Sales representatives who work from the store and in the field to grow accounts. You will set up appointments, demonstrate products, and provide consultative sales support to industrial, construction and residential customers.

Candidates should have at least two years of direct customer service experience, strong tech skills, and a valid driver’s license. Availability to work Saturdays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of direct customer service experience, preferably in outside sales.
• Strong technology skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
• Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and Saturdays in-store availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and product support of industrial, construction, and residential construction equipment.
• Prospect for new accounts, foster current customer relationships, and grow opportunities with a consultative approach.
• Deliver world class customer service through product knowledge and current programs.
• Identify customer opportunities and recommend products or services to meet needs.
• Demonstrate products at customer sites prior to sale.
• Follow up after sale to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Participate in store events and maintain a safe work environment.
