Job summary

dycomind is seeking a Project Manager to join our Irving, TX team. This field-based, salaried role focuses on managing outside plant construction projects, ensuring on-schedule delivery and budget adherence while coordinating with customers and field crews.

The candidate should bring 2+ years of wireline OSP PM experience, strong Excel and data manipulation skills, and the ability to forecast 90 days ahead. Valid driver's license and OSHA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of wireline outside plant construction project management experience.
• Proven customer-facing project management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems as needed, specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage change order work completion with pre-approval to protect margins.
• Generate revenue with positive margins for the company.
• Schedule workload and forecast jobs; interface with customers on scheduling and assignments.
• Respond timely to customer technical problems and adhere to contracts.
• Ensure cost, time, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Keep company databases current and accurate.
• Coordinate with construction operations and permits.
• Review KPIs and improve build productivity and job management.
• Maintain safe working conditions per regulations.
• Handle customer escalations and roadblocks.
• Work 8 hours/day, 5 days/week; overtime as needed.
