Field Technology Specialist (Construction)
Estimated salary range: $66,000 - $85,000.
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases.
- District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support.
- Delivers technical training and other knowledge resources.
- Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation, and responds to issues.
- Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem‑management database.
- Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline preferred.
- Two years experience including Co‑op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
- Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on proactive solutions.
- Organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
- Results‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking standards.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. as part of regular job duties.
