Job summary

Tarrant Regional Water District in Utah/nearby area seeks a field technician to maintain pipelines and ROW. You will perform vegetation work, fencing, carpentry, and related tasks across district corridors, often traveling to remote sites to complete assignments under limited supervision.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Texas driver’s license required.
Experience with hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform vegetation maintenance, painting, and building fences/irrigation/floodway/carpentry/gates on pipelines, or ROW.
Travel long distances to remote areas to complete work under minimal supervision.
Haul materials and equipment for projects; operate equipment such as dump trucks or motorized boats.
Assist with data entry on work orders and timekeeping.
Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Respond to after-hours emergencies and HazMat responses as needed.
Assist with monitoring and maintenance of pipelines, ROW, and floodway.
Work on-call and support TRWD events.
