Job summary

GeoSonics/Vibra-Tech Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to work in the field on residential properties, active construction sites, and mining operations, inspecting structures and installing monitoring equipment.

You will gain hands-on training in specialized seismic technology and deliver clear data to clients. The role involves on-site and remote monitoring, report preparation, and close collaboration with the Area Manager and technical teams, with mileage reimbursement and travel to various

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Geology, Engineering, Construction Technology, Environmental Science or related field.
  • Equivalent hands-on field experience can qualify.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; travel to job sites is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed condition surveys of residential and commercial buildings.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot vibration and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Perform on-site and remote monitoring at construction and mining projects.
  • Prepare accurate reports and provide responsive field support to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and internal technical teams.

As a Field Technician at Vibra-Tech Engineers, you’ll spend your days in the field—on residential properties, active construction sites, and mining operations—inspecting structures, installing and maintaining monitoring equipment, and delivering clear data that clients rely on. You’ll get hands‑on training in specialized seismic technology, work with a supportive technical team, and build real expertise in a niche that continues to grow.
