Job summary

Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician for our Hazleton, PA location. You will travel to various worksites to conduct pre/post blast inspections, perform vibration monitoring, and manage installation, testing and maintenance of service equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to follow instructions, and work independently. Experience with video/digital cameras and solid computer skills are preferred; a valid driver’s license and reliable

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed pre and post-blast inspections of homes, commercial buildings/other structures.
• Perform on-site and remote seismograph vibration monitoring at mining and construction operations.
• Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Prepare reports and provide field service and customer support.

Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc., a nationally recognized seismic consulting company is seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our team at our Hazleton, Pennsylvania location.

As a Field Technician with Vibra-Tech Engineers, Inc. you will travel to various worksites, such as homes, construction locations, mines and other structures to conduct pre/post blast inspections, perform on-site vibration monitoring, manage installation, test, repair and maintenance of service equipment. Be a support to the area manager as well as provide service and support to customers.

Our ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Has experience using video and digital cameras. and is proficient in computer and technical skills. Experience or degree in Geology, Engineering. Construction or related field, preferred but not required. Driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation is required as you will travel in your personal vehicle to job sites.
