Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join as Mechanical Field Technicians, with a path toward foreman and crew leadership. You will perform underground storage tank testing, leak detector testing, and related maintenance at gas stations, with hands-on training and opportunities for career growth.

Travel across multiple states is required, with hotels and generous per diem. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and professional development within the UST

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with experience using hand tools.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform kneeling, bending, handling, reaching, and standing.
• Capable of climbing ladders to install and retrieve equipment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate well.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and laws is a plus.
• Basic tech literacy for documentation on tablet/phone/computer.
• Willing to travel in a multi-state area; hotels and per diem provided.
• Must pass company-paid DOT physical and drug screen with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepping the site for testing.
• Setting up testing and safety equipment.
• Removal of manhole lids for underground storage tank access.
• Driving a DOT registered commercial motor vehicle.
