Qualifications

• Entry-level AV Technician with willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of AV components helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of audio, video, networking, security, and low-voltage systems.
• Pull, label, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, speaker wire).
• Mount TVs and equipment with supervision.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles.
• Track time, materials, and daily work activity in company systems.
• Complete basic job documentation, photos, and daily reports.
• Follow safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
• Support troubleshooting under direction of senior technicians.

Role Overview

Tier 1 Field Technicians are entry-level installers responsible for supporting AV installation projects through hands-on labor, basic technical tasks, and adherence to company processes. This role focuses on learning industry fundamentals, jobsite best practices, and core AV concepts while working under direct supervision.
