Job summary

TriMedia Environmental & Engineering seeks full-time, entry- to mid-level Survey/Utility Services Field Technicians to join our Marquette, Michigan team. This field-based role combines utility services and surveying, performing utility locating, GPS/GNSS data collection, and various surveying tasks.

Travel is required for projects across local, regional, and nationwide sites. We offer competitive wages from $24.00 to $35.00 per hour and a benefits package including PTO, medical, retirement

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years relevant field experience required.
• Experience with utility locating equipment and survey instruments preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 75% and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform utility locating and field investigations to identify and mark subsurface utilities.
• Use survey-grade GPS/GNSS equipment to document utilities and field features.
• Conduct topographic, construction, as-built, control, and boundary surveys as required.
• Perform construction staking and layout for project features.
• Collect as-built measurements and survey data for pipelines, utilities, structures.
• Document field data using GPS/GNSS, total stations, GIS equipment.
• Maintain field notes, sketches, photographs, measurements, and electronic records.
