Job summary

SITECH Southeast Texas is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and support machine control and construction technology systems in the field at customer job sites.

The role combines heavy equipment knowledge with electrical troubleshooting to help customers maximize equipment performance. This hands-on position emphasizes problem-solving, training customers, and delivering excellent service on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with heavy equipment systems and electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and technical systems.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills and the ability to manage field service assignments and priorities.
• Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and a “get it done” attitude.
• Team player who takes ownership and follows through on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair machine control systems on heavy equipment.
• Use mechanical, electrical, and technical knowledge to diagnose equipment and technology issues.
• Provide field service and technical support directly at customer job sites.
• Diagnose system errors and determine appropriate solutions.
• Provide hands‑on technical training and guidance to customers.
• Document service calls, repairs, and support activities accurately in company systems.
• Gather and communicate technical feedback to help improve products, services, and customer support.
• Work with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues.
• Assist with developing and maintaining service and support processes.
• Deliver professional, responsive customer service during field visits.

What You’ll Do as a SITECH Field Service Technician:
