Job summary

Sparus Holdings is hiring Gas Leak Survey Technicians for our Myrtle Beach, SC area. No prior experience required; paid training provided. You will inspect natural gas lines for leaks using specialized equipment, and work outdoors in a field-based setting.

After training, you’ll work independently and travel between locations with your own vehicle. The role emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Comfortable walking 5+ miles daily and working outdoors.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Walk neighborhoods and utility areas to inspect for gas leaks.
• Use specialized detection equipment to locate leaks.
• Record, report and communicate findings clearly.
• Identify safety concerns and take appropriate action.
• Drive between work locations using your own vehicle.

What You'll Do

We're hiring Gas Leak Survey Technicians to join our Myrtle Beach, SC team. No experience required - paid training provided. You'll inspect natural gas lines for potential leaks using specialized detection equipment. Your work helps keep neighborhoods and communities safe. This is a field-based role - you'll work outdoors, walk several miles daily, and work independently after training.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting pay: $18 per hour
• Guaranteed $0.50 increases at 60 and 180 days

• Schedule Full-time, Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What Your Day Looks Like

• Walk neighborhoods and utility areas (5+ miles daily)
• Use specialized equipment to detect natural gas leaks
• Record and report findings accurately
• Identify potential safety concerns
• Work independently after completing training
• Drive your personal vehicle between assigned work locations

Requirements – Must Have

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid, unexpired driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle for daily work use
• Comfortable walking 5+ miles daily
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to bend, kneel, crouch, and carry up to 20 lbs.
