Job summary
University of Oregon, CAS Earth Sciences, seeks a Research Assistant (Type B) based in Eugene to support the OHAZ program. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent education/experience in digital data collection systems.
- Experience with digital data collection systems and remote field installation/operations workflows.
Responsibilities
- Operate, evaluate, and refine a distributed monitoring network across Oregon and neighboring states.
- Monitor instrument performance and conduct field investigations.
- Troubleshoot data irregularities and implement improvements to data collection infrastructure.
- Contribute to documentation that informs ongoing scientific analysis.
