ClearWater Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Technician I to collect data at residential and commercial sites and assist with maintenance and repairs of water and wastewater systems. You will help create work orders and support field operations with accurate records.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting. Overtime and on-call availability are required.

Responsabilidades

• Review service orders to determine meter reading locations.
• Read water meters and enter data in route logs.
• Maintain required paperwork and logs per regulations.
• Inspect meters and connections for defects.
• Under supervision, repair or replace broken water mains and service lines.
• Report meter problems to the Project Manager.
• Operate a company vehicle for meter readings.
• Connect and disconnect utility services as directed.
• Keep utility log book data accurate.
• Perform general landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning).
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Job Summary

The Field Technician I will work in the field for most of their day and will be responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data from residential and commercial customer locations, assisting with the maintenance & repairs of water/ wastewater systems, and creating/ assisting with work orders.

Responsibilities

• Review service orders to determine locations where meter readings need to be performed
• Read water meters and enter data in route logs
• Maintains required paperwork and logs in compliance with Federal, State and local rules and regulations
• Inspect meters and connections to determine defects, faults and damages
• Under direct supervision, repairs and/or replaces broken water mains and service lines, maintains& assists with minor repairs of the water/ wastewater systems
• Communicate problems with meters or incorrect readings to the Project Manager
• Operates a company vehicle to conduct meter readings for assigned route
• Connect and disconnect utility services as directed
• Ensure that all data in the utility log book is maintained correctly, and kept updated
• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning, and other typical landscape maintenance tasks
• Performs other related duties as directed

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records are required
• Entry-level, 1+ years' experience in the water/ wastewater, public works, maintenance orservicing industry is preferred
• Ability and willingness to work independently
• Ability to understand water systems and concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform sustained physical labor, including heavy lifting and working above your
  head and below your feet
• Neat and clean in appearance, courteous and friendly with the general public and willing to
  be a part of a team
• Must be available to work overtime and on-call as needed
