Job summary

Onterris Payroll, LLC is seeking an OGI Field Technician to perform hydrocarbon fugitive emission detection and leak measurement at facilities in the Oil and Gas industry. The role involves using advanced detection technologies in the field, with a salary range of $50-60k per year commensurate with experience.

You will navigate to sites with maps and GPS, calibrate equipment, document emissions, and prepare field reports, while working 12-hour day shifts and maintaining a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference for natural gas processing/transmission facility experience.
• Strong computer skills: Excel and Microsoft Office; proficiency with Android OS.
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts; valid driver's license.
• Engineering technology degree or technical diploma preferred; related hydrocarbon detection or LDAR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and navigate to facilities using maps and GPS.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment.
• Use detection and measurement technologies under supervision.
• Collect and record emission data.
• Prepare field reports as required.
