Qualifications

• Good communication skills (verbal, written)
• Data entry and basic math skills
• Ability to read maps and follow directions
• Capable of lifting up to 85 lbs
• Dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision
• Assist with materials testing activities on project sites
• Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Report changing site conditions and testing needs to supervisors
• Assist with daily field reports and data entry of results
• Organize and maintain field equipment
• Notify supervisors of damaged or missing equipment
• Participate in project meetings as requested
• Perform other field and project support duties as assigned
